This 'Read_Me.txt' file and accompanying 'Fiero_ALDL_Monitor.zip' file are for a user that needs to restore a
manually deleted V2.0.6 GUI installation.

This should restore enough of the files to uninstall the GUI properly. Hopefully the National Instruments Run Time Engine (RTE)
that was also partially manually deleted will be restored after unistalling the V2.0.6 GUI remnants and reinstalling
the V2.0.6 GUI afterward.

 1. Unzip the accompanying 'Recovery.zip' archive to a folder on your desktop: 'Recovery'.

 2. In the 'Recovery' folder, unzip the files in the 'Fiero_ALDL_Monitor.zip' archive to a folder on your
    desktop called: 'Fiero_ALDL_Monitor'.

Note: This is NOT the GUI installation file, it is a file image of the GUI as if it had been installed (at least file wise).
Do not confuse this zip file with the actual Installation Zip file (or the files from the CD ROM).

    Do you understand this?

 3. Inspect that unzipped folder: Directly under it should be the normal GUI files - one of them being 'uninst.exe'.
If you ended up with another 'Fiero_ALDL_Monitor' folder under it, that is the folder (directory) you want to use.

It should be a path like this:

    'C:\<PC dependent>\Desktop\Recovery\Fiero_ALDL_Monitor\uninst.exe' [among others]

    Where:
<PC dependent> is a file path that can vary among different PCs depending on how the file system was set up by the user.
For example, on my PC, this is: 'C:\Users\Paul\Desktop\Recovery\Fiero_ALDL_Monitor\uninst.exe'.

 4. Copy the 'Fiero_ALDL_Monitor' folder to the 'C:\Program Files' directory.

 5. Double check that the 'uninst.exe' file is DIRECTLY inside the 'C:\Program Files\Fiero_ALDL_Monitor' folder (not one
    or more levels deeper).

    This is important.

 6. From the 'Windows Uninstall Program Utility', uninstall 'Fiero_ALDL_Monitor V2.0.6'.

 7. Be patient, it may take up to an hour to uninstall as the PC does a lot of cross referencing and checking during an uninstall.

 8. If prompted with any errors, take a screen shot, send it to me, and wait for my response. Don't use or shut of the PC or attempt
to backup or continue the uninstall until I get back to you. Keep your PC away from children and pets, any stray keystokes
at this point can cause serious unreparable file damage to your operating and file systems.

 9. If for some reason the GUI will still not uninstall, you will have to take your PC (and these notes) to a local PC computer
expert that can help you totally remove the any remnants of the prior install and help you reinstall V2.0.6 of the GUI.

If the uninstall was sucessful, go to Step 10.

10. After the unistall is complete, reinstall version V2.0.6 of the GUI from the CD ROM or from my web page GUI Install download.

11. Again, if prompted with any errors, take a screen shot, send it to me and wait for my response.
